Complications of Sculptra for Cosmetic Skin Contour Enhancements
Abstract Background: Five patients presented to the Kenner Dermatology Clinic with granuloma formation after cosmetic augmentation with poly-L-lactic acid (Sculptra). One patient had injections to the dorsum of the hands, and 4 patients had infraorbital skin augmentation. None were immunocompromised. Methods: Literature review and multiple case report.
